Price updates start at 3:00 AM UTC daily. High-activity items with frequent sales are updated more often, while lower-activity items receive regular updates. The entire update process can take several hours to complete for all items across all supported games.
High-activity items have frequent daily sales and are prioritized for more frequent price updates to ensure accuracy. Low-activity items with fewer sales are updated less frequently but still maintained regularly to provide reliable pricing data.
Prices are calculated using comprehensive data from the Steam Community Market. Our algorithm analyzes the complete sales history, trading volume, and market trends to determine the most accurate display price. For items with limited sales data, we may analyze up to a full year of historical data to ensure pricing accuracy. Items with inconsistent pricing may be marked as unstable.
An item is marked as unstable when its price shows significant volatility or has limited sales data. This helps you identify items where pricing may be less reliable due to market fluctuations or low trading volume.
